C.I.D - Thriller Serial on SonyTV

C.I.D, one of the most popular and longest running serial on Sony Entertainment television. It is a show full of suspense and is about a team of cops specialize in dormant and unsolved cases. The special bureau tries to bring justice to victims and their families by solving these cases. It is a surprise that C.I.D has captivated viewers over the last 5 years and still continuing. The thrilling investigation of the show keeps the audiences glued to their television sets. The personal challenges faced by the C.I.D team are interwoven in the fast paced plot with non-stop adventure.

C.I.D is series that consists of stories dealing with investigation, detection and suspense. Each episode will be thrilling as the climax will be in suspense. The main characters of the serial are a team of police officials belonging to Crime Investigation Department, led by ACP Pradyuman who solves a slew of murder mysteries and other crimes. There is an emphasis, on the technical complexities faced by the police finding the crime, without any evidence, but from a small clue. The role of ACP Pradyuman is played by Shivaji Satam and Inspector Daya is played by Dayanand Shetty.

Indian Idol 3 auditions in the U.K

SET Asia have announced a new twist to their hit reality show, Indian Idol which is due to premiere its third season in April. Fans and budding singers can now audition in the U.K. with a chance to join the Indian Idol final stages in Mumbai and follow their dreams of becoming a singing sensation.

The auditions will be held at the Asian Lifestyle Show in Birmingham on the 30th, 31st March and 1st April. All auditions will be judged by a well accomplished panel. They will then be whittled down to 25 promising singers and the final two will then go on to join the competition in India where they will compete to win the title of the new Indian Idol and a contract with SonyBMG (India).

Kkusum on SonyTV

Kkusum’, a serial telecasting on SonyTV epitomizes the values and virtues of the Indian woman who puts the well being of the family before self and stands up for her principles. Its the story of a woman whose upbringing has instilled strong middle class values in her and has taught her to be strong willed, self respecting and at the same time loving and caring. Married in a rich family, Kkusum loses her child due to a miscarriage. Desperate to give the family an heir she brings in Mahi to be the surrogate mother. Due to various misunderstandings, Kkusum is forced to leave the Kapoor house and is shocked when she realises that she is pregnant.

Kkusum dedicates the next eighteen years to bring up her daughter Kumud and inculcate in her the idealistic values she has held close to heart herself. Meanwhile, Kkusum’s husband Abhay brings up his daughter Kali with Mahi’s help. Amidst all the doting over and pampering Kali grows up to be a spoilt brat. Kali forces Abhay to get married to Mahi.

Destiny brings Kkusum and Abhay face to face, but its too late. Kali and Kumud go through their youth abhoring each other, and fall in love with Garv and Ksitij. Their fates cross paths when Kumud ends up marrying Garv instead of Kshitij. Kkusum watches helplessly as Kali tries to woo Garv back and Kumud tries to save her married life. The two half sisters come to loggerheads again and this time, Kkusum decides to take charge of the situation.
