Heena , a serial on SonyTV is about the trial and tribulations in the life of a woman. Heena, the protogonist in the serial is married to Sameer. But her marriage is doomed from the wedding night itself when Sameer proclaims his undying love for another woman, Ruby. Finally their unhappy marriage ends in a divorce. Later Heena marries Sameer's friend Akram in search for happiness. But Ruby strikes again and enters Heena's life as Akram's second wife.
 
Heena finally manages to be free of Akram and gathers courage to rebuild her life and establish her own identity. Heena looks forward to her new life as a mother and dreams of a beautiful healthy child. But Heena's trials are not yet ove. At the hospital Heena gives birth to two kids. However one baby gets kidnapped, Heena is in a critical state. In order to save her further trauma, her father tells her that one baby is dead. Heena accepts this as her fate and decides to live for her one baby. However she discovers that her second baby is alive. The hunt for her missing baby begins. Heena suspects Akram and Ruby. Who is the kidnapper? Will Heena find her baby?

Heena stars Simone Singh, Rakhee Tandon, WaquarRahul Bhatt, Ram Kapoor, Parikshit Shahani and others. The serial is directed by Talat Jani .

Aisa Des Hai Mera, the gripping tale of a London-based girl, Rusty, who is drawn towards the facets of Punjabi Indian Culture, ultimately taking her to the roots where she really belongs ………Rusty is the only daughter of John and Linda, an upper middle class white family residing in England. Yet in all her growing up years, Rusty is inexplicably drawn to many facets of the Punjabi Indian culture even in London. The music fascinates her, the aroma of spices, the fabric and the dresses, the colors everything seems to have some kind of meaning to her though she cannot not explain why. One day Rusty comes to know that, she is a half-Indian and John is actually her stepfather. Linda had once been married to Randheer-a Sikh and Rusty is their daughter. After that their marriage disintegrated and Randheer requested Linda to raise Rusty without telling her about her Indian origins.

Rusty hence decides to go to Punjab to search for some explanation to the primeval pull that she feels. There Rusty falls in love with a boy, who is not just Punjabi but from the family with whom her own family has had traditional rivalry. Rusty inherits not only the wrath of the family, she also inherits the decades old rivalries, and she inherits their pains, their anger, their hopes and their dreams. And all hell threatens to break lose.


The novelty of this serial lies in the exploration of the way and life of pastoral and feudal Punjab. A Punjab on the verge of change and desperately trying to ward off the western influences, Punjabis desperately trying to hold on to their quaint cultural idioms, their ethos, their unshakeable belief in the hierarchy of social classes. The people who hate passionately, who love passionately, who live passionately, who will passionately defend what they believe is right and at the same time in a fit of passion will throw all the above mentioned passions out of the window and sacrifice themselves with the same passion.

Vaidehi, is the story of a 21-year-old young, spirited girl, who comes from a middle-class family without any grand ambitions. This young girl had small dreams---of a loving husband, supportive family and a small house to call her own. Things change when she marries Aryavardhan, scion to a big business empire.

One day, out of the blue, in a true fairy tale-like fashion, Vaidehi’s parent’s receive a marriage proposal for their daughter from one of the richest families in the country-the Jaisinghs. Her family could not believe their luck. For everyone who gets to know about the alliance it is going to be a fairy tale wedding, but Vaidehi is apprehensive. She wonders what is the reason that Aryavardhan ,who could get any rich and affluent girl in the country, must ask for her hand. Her family and friends tell her that she is the chosen one and she must just happily get in to this marriage. However once she sees Aryavardhan he sweeps her off her feet. The story is about how she falls in love with Aryavardhan and tries to adjust to an environment completely different from the place she was born and brought up in.

She goes through the wedding, a true fairy tale wedding. With stars in her eyes and dreams in her heart , she enters the corridors of Jaisingh mansion, where away from her knowledge lies a dark secret. On her wedding night, she realizes that the wedding was a façade. It was not in any way a fairy tale ending…but the beginning of a nightmare. She finds herself trapped in this marriage.

Vaidehi’s life comes to a standstill. She has to go through the ultimate test … the Agnipareeksha!!! What is the secret that lurks within the corridors of Jaisingh mansion? What happens when the truth unveils before Vaidehi? Whom does she turn to for support? Or does she have to fight a lone battle for herself? Will she ever find true love? The serial is directed by Pawan Sahu.

The story of Kulvaddhu begins with Niyati, an young and simple small-town girl, who comes to Mumbai to attend the wedding of Rajveer Rathore only to find herself caught in a bizarre situation. Instead of being the guest at the wedding, she finds herself engaged to a childhood friend Shourya. Before she can adjust to the situation, she lands up as the widow of the guy she hasn’t married. “Destiny plays a very important role in the life of the protagonist. The daughter-in-law is the last entry in the family and how her entry affects the destiny of the entire family and the very name Niyati itself is very synonymous with destiny/luck. What does destiny have in store for Niyati? Will she ever be able to reveal the truth to the family which dotes on her?
