Jugol Bondi is a popular talk show telecasted on RTV Bangla. In this program, well-known couples are invited to share their life experiences, to describe their activities, profes-sion, life-style etc. Prominent actress Shanta Islam anchors this program. Jugol Bondi is telecasted on Sundays.

Esho Hath Dhoro on RTV Bangla

RTV Bangla will telecast a single episode play, titled Esho Hath Dhoro  tonight at 8:50pm. The play is based on a story by noted writer Imdadul Haque Milon. Babul and Shumi are cousins and friends. Shumi loves Shuvro, on the other side, Babul loves Shumi but is unable to express his feelings. One day Shuvro is killed in a road mishap. After two months, Shumi discovers that she is pregnant. Fingers are pointed at Babul. The eventual fate of Shumi is the focal point of the play.

The cast includes Sharmili Ahmed, Apurbo, Tarin and others. The play is directed by Chayonika Chowdhury.

Akash Ki Choya Jai, the exciting and interesting drama series,  is one of the most popular drama serials on RTV Bangla. The plot is intriguing, moving and complicated. The story of Akash Ki Choya Jai begins when six friends meet just after completing their Masters examination. The series is involved with the major developments that occur in life of the six friends once they complete their studies and enter into the real world of life. 

 

The main characters in the drama series are Sajal, Joy, Palash, Rini, Lata and Rumpa. Sajal falls in love with Rumpa but Rumpa is engaged to another guy. Lata’s parents are divorced and her father gets remarried. Lata declares that she is pregnant but does not reveal the name of her secret lover. Joy, a very good student, is tired of struggling to get a job. On the other hand, Rini gets a job but her boss shows affection towards her. Palash tries to suppress his mental sufferings though he is a cheerful and an open minded guy.

The characters of Akash Ki Choya Jai meet again in a year and find that many things have changed. They realize, however, that the sky can be reached through love, trust and confidence.
