yummy homemade chocolate icing

by: Pedro2

Listening to: foxtrot uniform charlie kilo -- the bloodhound gang

4 cups of powdered sugar

1 tablespoon butter or margerine

1 tablespoon milk

1 cup cocoa

1 capfull of vanilla extract

in a large bowl, put sugar and cocoa. mix until blended well, no lumps. add butter and milk. mix throughly. add vanilla and mix more. the icing should be somewhat thick but, where you can easily move the spoon and the icing falls off the spoon without having to be shaken. if the icing is thicker than that, add just a little more milk. a little liquid goes a long way in this recipe. this particular batch makes enough to ice two batches of cupcakes or one sheet cake. if you want vanilla instead of chocolate, don't add the cocoa. enjoy!
