Blood Elves

"Thousands of years ago, the exiled Highborne landed on the shores of Lordaeron and founded the enchanted kingdom of Quel'Thalas. These high elves, as they called themselves, created a fount of vast, magical energies within the heart of their land - the Sunwell. Renaming his people blood elves, in honor of their fallen countrymen, he taught them how to tap into ambient mystical energies - even demonic energies - in order to sate their terrible thirst for magic. In search of a new destiny for his people, Kael'thas ventured to the remote world of Outland where he encountered the fallen night elf, Illidan. Under Illidan's tutelage, Kael and his blood elves have regained much of their former power. Unfortunately, the blood elves' practice of embracing demonic energies resulted in them being shunned by their former comrades in the Alliance. Thus, the remaining blood elves on Azeroth look desperately to the Horde to help them reach Outland, where they can reunite with Kael'thas and achieve the golden destiny he promised them. Draenei Nearly twenty-five thousand years ago, the eredar race arose on the world of Argus. They were extremely intelligent and had a natural affinity for magic in all its myriad forms. Using their gifts, they developed a vast and wondrous society. Unfortunately the eredar's accomplishments caught the attention of Sargeras, the Destroyer of Worlds. He had already begun his Burning Crusade to eradicate all life from the cosmos, and he believed that the brilliant eredar would be pivotal in leading the vast demonic army he was gathering. Thus, he contacted the eredar's three most prominent leaders: friend Kil'jaeden, Archimonde, and Velen. In exchange for the loyalty of the eredar race, Sargeras offered untold power and knowledge. Although the offer sounded very tempting, Velen had a vision of the future that filled him with sick dread. Sargeras had spoken the truth: the eredar who joined the Dark Titan would indeed gain enormous power and knowledge. "Differences Between Horde and Alliance Storytelling In Wrath

"The Alliance arrives on boat to Northrend through the fjord (which is probably the most beautiful entry into any zone ever) into Daggercap Bay where they land in the middle of a vrykul attack. Here we learn a lot about the history of the Vrykul, through some very cool quests that take the us to the the past. First we see the flashback of an ancient vrykul couple whose baby is cursed. The father wants to kill the infant before King Ymiron sees him, but the mother begs to let her hide the baby far away from Northrend so he can grow up. In a second vrykul settlement the visions show vrykuls gathering around King Ymiron who has a speech about their gods (the titans) leaving them, because noone else they know about has powers to inflict such a terrible disfiguring curse on them. He commands his subjects to deny their gods, as he, the king will protect them. At the same time he orders every cursed baby to be murdered to keep their bloodlines pure. For us it is obvious however, that the cursed babies are human babies and the terrible curse is the Curse of Flesh. Horde exclusive stories: when first arriving on the zeppelin from Undercity in Vengeance Landing, I found myself in a battle between the Forsaken and the Alliance, where the Forsaken fleet won. This impressed Prince Keleseth (Scourge ambassador to the Vrykul, more about him) so much, that he offered the Forsaken to rejoin the Scourge. The High Executor of Vengeance Landing refuses this kind invitation and sets us on a mission to kill Prince Keleseth in Utgarde Keep. The story of the Scarlet Onslaught starts in the Dragonblight questhub Venomspite where there are a series of tasks that deal with their newly built fortress nearby: New Hearthglen. After stealing horses, executing captured Forsaken, some torture, removing leaders and stealing the diary of High General Abbendis you witness an event where an even higher ranking Scarlet officer, named Grand Admiral Westwind casts a very peculiar nullifying shield on himself and basically lets you and your friends kill the High General. Westwind was presumed dead for years and he suddenly reappeared as Abbendis writes in her diary. He also gave some interesting orders that allowed Raven Priests (basically shadow priests) and Death Knights into the ranks of the Scarlet Crusade. When High General Abbendis dies, Westwind teleports with an ""I will see you fools in Icecrown"" laughter. There's definitely something evil going on here. Coming accross a note in Icecrown confirms that Grand Admiral Westwind is indeed there, on an island just north of the mainland called Onslaught Harbor where one of the biggest Scarlet Crusade fortress is set up. Beating the information out of his captains and killing his resurrected friend, Archbishop Landgren reveals that he is indeed up to no good, but just what kind of evil did he make a pact with. Tanking in the Lich King

"A pally will spend 39 to 43, maybe 51 redoubt & shield Spec on Mitigation. In this 67 point spec I have spent X talents: 36 Mitigation 7 Stam 43 Total 7 Reduce mana cost 16 Threat (includes Talents with threat and mana reduction) 23 Total 1 Kings I have 4 points for more spec mitigation or threat. Best Guess a Prot war would use 26-31 Mitigation & 5 Stam for 31-36 Total. Best Guess a Feral would use 21-24 Mitigation and 8 Stats for 29 to 32 Total. Best Guess a death knight would use 18-24 Mitigation and 3 Stats for 21 to 27 Total. death knight is really a guess. So my pally non-AOE DPS will plain sink. Because I can not afford to buy dps talents in the Ret tree like a death knight/Feral can. By having to spend so many talents for Mitigation & stam, then I will be so much better at tanking melee, so that you would never even consider letting a anyone melee tank over a Prot Pally. By a Talent Cost only basis Prot Pallys should be considered the best MT for melee boses then Warr, Feral and death knights in that order. death knights and Ferals are very close in cost mitigation and that is why they have such high DPS. If Ferals and death knights are to have really good DPS, then they need to be much weaker tanks than Prots. Unless Ferals Niche is DPS. And death knights niche is casters so you would need to reduce death knights DPS to match PROTs.
