It’s time to have fun again, and that’s mean…

by: fulong   Keywords: zorb, ball

We are back to Marriott Phuket!

There are plenty of activities that can be done in the resort.

One of the activities is Water Zorbing!

Here is how it looks like…

First, the person enter this huge transparent plastic ball while air being pumped inside till it formed full solid sphere.

Then the sphere with the person inside slowly pushed to the swimming pool.

This is where the fun begin!

Balancing the position inside the Zorb Ball can be quite tricky, especially when it placed on the water surface.

So many of them fell head over heels trying. The key to maintain the posture is to spread your legs and arms wide while moving inside the ball (Water Zorbing).

As you can see, this game is not only for kids but can fit adult as well.

Looks like being adult has its advantage. They learnt faster and able to spread wider to maintain their balance.

These are the correct posture inside the Zorb ball manufacturer.

At first I was tempted to try this as well, here are five top reason I am have not tried it:

1.I was alone.

2.I was with my monstrous camera (70-200mm f2.8 lens mind you). Leaving it unguarded would be unwise.

3.That made me the only photographer capable to capture this moment.

4.I can’t get rid the though of  how much similarity I will be inside the sphere compared to some rodent family inside the pet shop. (Ratty, this might be the answer for your water phobia  )

5.I love you guys too much to missed a chance of sharing this awesome Zorb ball supplier game. Would you agree with me? Please?

Bavaria: Castle adventure park entertains the young ones

by: fulong   Keywords: Bumper, boat

Are you looking to wear out your children with a good day of entertainment and fun? Then, have I got the place for you. The Adventure Park Castle Thurn, or Erlebnispark Schloss Thurn in German, is designed to captivate your children’s imaginations while keeping them on the move. Castle Thurn offers a day of amusement rides, knight and cowboy shows, kids games, zoo animals, train rides and plenty of concession stands hawking ample amounts of sugar. Don’t be discouraged when you don’t see tons of rides and amusements right off the bat. At Castle Thurn, you have to do some walking to get to the good stuff. At the front gate, you have the choice to go right or left. Going left just brings you to a restaurant far from the fun. So I recommend going right, where visitors are greeted by a beautiful lake with fountains and, of course, a gift shop. If you’ve chosen to go right, you’ll cross a bridge and enter a dense wood with a coffee shop and some minor attractions before you reach a train station. You can jump on the train here or continue a bit farther on foot, because the fun starts just around the corner. The first ride you come to will be kiddie-size slot cars. The next attraction is the "Old West," which features arcades, Bumper boat cars and museums hidden in an Old West-style village. Then it’s game on for the kids with rides and games galore as you continue through the park. For an above-ground view of most of the park, jump on the Schwebebahn. The Schwebebahn station is hidden behind the first building on the left when you enter the "Old West." If you continue on foot, the walking path will lead you to the Renaissance-style water castle. If you’re looking for back-burning water slides, you won’t find them here, however, there are plenty of smaller water rides to entertain young children that shouldn’t get them wet. The park features paddle boats, bumper boats, a log ride and a dragon-shaped tour boat. The park zoo offers mostly domestic animals, but there also are camels, lamas and some rare birds. I recommend the park for kids ages 10 and younger, but children in the early teens may enjoy the shows and one or two of the rides. There is a knights show at the park’s main arena, the Turnierplatz, featuring jousting and sword fighting. The cowboy show in the afternoon features a humorous rendition of an age-old cowboys-vs.-bandits story.

by: fulong   Keywords: Bumper, boat

A heads up this is a really long post with lots of writing and lots of pictures. Josh's family has a Family reunion every 2 years, the last reunion was in Toas NM, and this year we decided to have here in good ol' Roswell NM, this way Great Grandma was able to attend. Out of 27 people in the family, 25 were there, not bad I would say! Anyways we had a lot of fun together, on Friday we all went up to Ruidoso and rode go karts and bumper boats, then we went to a place called The Flying J.... no all you Utah/ Idaho people not the gas station!! The Flying J is a western place, you can ride a horse, practice shooting a gun, look for gold, and shop in all the "town stores". They also put on a little gun show, and after words we eat dinner, which was BBQ chicken, baked beans with of course green chiles in them, biscuts, baked potato, and cake, pretty good, while you eat they have a small band that plays older western songs. We all enjoyed ourselves. Then on Saturday we all went up to Bottomless lakes, which is salt water, and swam for a few hours, went home had a BBQ of our own, and since it was Justins Birthday we opened presents and had cake (pictures to come in another post). Our next Family Reunion will be in 2012, and we are still trying to decide where it will be! Justin driving his own go-kart on the kiddie track. He did pretty good until it started raining, he put his head down trying not to get wet and... We had just been to the bumper boats a month ago so knew that we needed extra clothes for this, but we were the only ones that knew this! Monday, August 9, 2010The Olson Family Reunion A heads up this is a really long post with lots of writing and lots of pictures. by: fulong   Keywords: inflatable, boats

When the summer coming, we have to find something that kids can have fun with. One of the best products ever developed are inflatable boats for backyard. So let me give you a few popular inflatable boats, and the reason why you should get some.Large electric inflatable boat for your backyard are really wise choice these years but there are some things you need to consider before purchasing. One of the problems is the size of the product. Can it fit in the backyard? Also in your close neighborhood, make sure the other neighbors will not have the problem with it. Most water slides can easily fit in any background which means that you, as a parent, can easily take care of kids and even let them invite friends over to play without worrying too much about it.

Most Water Games are made for children with 3 ages and up. Be very careful to make sure that you check the age before you make your purchase because some of them are made for children ranging in age more than 5 & 6 years old.Another very popular product is the combination of bounce house and inflatable water slides . They can range most combination between bounce house and inflatable water slides are intended for children 3 and up. Smaller children just love these kinds of bouncy and slippery slides, and they are able to spent hours playing and jumping without getting bored or getting in trouble.

With most inflatable water slides and inflatable bounce houses the blower is included which is a must have for this kind of items. Just make sure that you check the age carefully before making your purchase. The best of all, if you surprise them, this is going to be the best gift ever.

Bumper boats are a fun recreational toy

by: fulong   Keywords: Bumper, boats

Bumper boats are a fun recreational toy comprised of simply an air tube with a small motor inside. This tube can sometimes leak, and often you'll find that you need to repair the bumper boat. Here is how to repair your bumper boat tube so you can get back into the action.Bumper boats are a amusement park ride similar to bumper cars on water. The ride was invented during the early 1970s by Edward A. Morgan, co-founder of Arrow Development Company, a famous manufacturer of amusement park rides.

Bumper boat is an amusement park ride in which people drive tiny boats in a pool or pond and try to crash into each other for fun. In a patent application related to the ride, its inventor wrote, "one of the thrills of operating amusement park boats of this type is to initiate collisions with other similar boat within a relatively confined pool." The small boats can hold one or two people and have over-sized fenders that resemble the inner tube of a large tractor tire inner tube. The power paddler boats are powered by either electric or gasoline engines.

Repair a Small Hole:Add air to the bumper boat's tube ring. Listen closely for an air "hiss" to locate the point of the leak. You can also coat the tube with soapy water to locate the leak. The soapy water will bubble where the air leaks out of the tube.Clean the tube in the area of the repair, rinse and let thoroughly dry. Use cleaner recommended for the vinyl or reinforced fabric, depending on the type of material.Patch the hole with a patch of the same material and the recommended patching cement for the material, or order a patch kit from the manufacturer.Let the patch set for at least an hour before re-inflating the tube.
