Submit your Comment and Congratulation to Prof. Yunus hereI would like to begin this blog today with a very joyful message.
The Nobel peace prize 2006 of this year goes to a Professor of Economics Mohammed Yunus of Bangladesh and the Institution Grameen Bank. Prof. Yunus has develop a system, that allow bank credits for poor people. I know Mr. Yunus very well and also his solar energy project „Grameen Shakti“. Five years ago I have created for German public a website GRAMEEN. Therefore it makes me personally happy with Grameen and Professor Yunus. Two prizes go in equal parts to the Microcredit institution Grameen bank and its founder Mohammed Yunus.
It is remarkable that an economist receives the Nobel peace prize. But he earned this glorious prize not only for the achievement in the field of economics but also his commitment to fight against poverty. Prof. Younus and Grameen Bank has develop a successful strategy against the misery of the world, against hunger and poverty of millions to humans. -Mir Monaz Haque, Blog Editor, Berlin
