However, only registered members can post or reply to a post. There is a separate forum for each village . Make sure you only post to the appropriate village forum. For example, you should not post a dog related discussion in a bird forum or vice versa. Inappropriate postings or postings to the wrong forum or section will be moved or deleted if necessaryAn online community for pets and pet owners, like myspace but for pets. You can earn Duckets by participating in variety of community related activities as determined by the Globalpetvillage team. Announcements on these activities will be made on the home page from time to timeNeighborhood FAQ As a registered member of the globalpetvillage, your pet has several privileges. One of those privileges is having its own neighborhood. A neighborhood is a common interest group within a village. Any registered member of a village can join an existing neighborhood or create their own. Once a neighborhood is created, other pets need to be invited in order to build up the neighborhood population. The more active the neighborhood, the better it is for the members. The registered pet that starts a neighborhood is called the neighborhood “Village Head” and is responsible for operating the neighborhood.To join an existing neighborhood, you need to know the name of the neighborhood. If you do not know the name of the neighborhood, you can do a quick search using the search button on top of the Neighborhoods’ home page. To get to the neighborhoods home page, click on the button titled Neighborhoods on the main navigation barOnce in the neighborhoods home page, you will find a list of the villages under the heading neighborhoods by village through which you can get to the neighborhoods. * Click on the appropriate village and the list of neighborhoods under that village will come up. * Select the name of the neighborhood you will like your pet to join. * On the next page, you will see the list of available neighborhoods including the one you want to join. * Click on the “Join this neighborhood” and you will be added as a member. If the neighborhood requires approval, your membership will not be activated until the owner approves your request.
