Why Should You Avoid Getting a Braindump Certification?

by: gaobin

Generally speaking, Braindumps refers to lists of questions and answers from an actual IT certification exam. This dangerous, illegal and unethical trend is like a plague to IT profession as well as industry.

Using unfair means in examinations is one of the chronic problems all over the world that has been greatly facilitated by the resources rich Internet in this information age. People who are looking for shortcuts use braindumps (or they are innocently sucked in by braindump sharks) for immediate success and may be a job but in vain.

Let us go into a little details. As per Wikipedia, the commonly used phrase braindump refers to many things. "In the IT industry, a 'braindump', usually spelled as a compound word braindump, refers to material that has been memorized, or captured electronically by means of a small device such as a PDA or cell phone with a built in camera, from an IT certification and re-created to provide an almost exact replica of the exam, thus violating most but not all non-disclosure agreements agreed to prior to the administration of an exam." It is in the IT Industry milieu, that we want to see what are braindumps.

Braindumps brazenly provide a set of questions and answers to candidates. By doing this, on the one hand they insult to the capabilities and sense of responsibility of IT certification agencies and on the other hand, they disallow the candidates to acquire the required skill and enable them to settle for a certificate without learning.

A quick search reveals that there are a lot of Braindumps sites and solutions claiming to "help" candidates to get any IT certifications. More are coming up every day.

The term 'Braindump' (Braindump IT Certification) was used as far back, during IT boom time, as 1995. Their mushrooming growth and mass circulation on a very large scale has, however, stated only after 1997.

How to stop braindumps? It is not easy task for a person looking to further his level of IT professional skills. The technology that helps human in almost all human activities also help Braindumps providers to come in different guise to lure those who are eagerly looking to get IT certifications. But if one looks at braindumps' sites deeply, one can notice exception to rules, more promises for 100 % pass guarantee, or use of the term (BRAINDUMP, BRAIN DUMP, Brain-Dump, braindumps) in one form or the other.

What is more, there are some site available on the Web that apparently are anti Braindumps. They say everything to avoid those "Braindumps" only to get the right questions and answers from them instead. Yes.

Clearly, the users and the IT industry both are the losers in this tug of war. Individuals using Braindumps can lose their certifications, may be banned from any further certifications, and they don't learn. At the same time, IT Industry is being devalued and the result is a dearth of knowledgeable IT professionals who have studied hard to attain the skills and are capable to deliver.

Braindumps in the first place defeats the fundamental objective of the exercise of certification. Spending time and efforts in such unhealthy pursuit is unproductive and wear down industry standards. The practice impairs the braindump users to think logically, construct own arguments, and draw inferences. "Perhaps, they can produce better results if they spend the same time and energies creatively and let their own analytical faculties work."

Another unintended result of braindumps certification is that the legal IT learning homes and certification providers are losing credibility in the process. When any braindumps certified individual comes out in the practical world and can't perform as expected, everyone righty questions the certifying institutions, notwithstanding how an individual got that qualification.

The unproductive exercise can go on and on. Unless, perhaps, both certification agencies and candidates arrive at a point where agencies can trust candidates and candidates guard the trust, but the certification agencies have to come with an iron hand to save the brain drain. They can make a part of the certification exam as practical at situ by opening up different examination centres around the world.

My recommendation: stay clear from braindump certifications and choose the clear path to excellence through knowledge and hard work.

Computer Programming Certification

by: gaobin

Although there has been a lull in recent months in the IT industry there is still a requirement for those people who have trained and gained the qualifications associated with being a computer programmer. Getting your computer programming certification could be extremely useful in the future and is very easy to achieve today because of the number of online training programs now available.

Also obtaining your certification as a computer programmer will not only provide you with confidence in your own skills and abilities but will make others look on you more favorably when applying for a position. Plus through doing such a course you will find that you can then move into the newer areas of this particular field of the IT industry as and when the much older forms of programming are phased out and replaced.

Through the use of an online course a person is able to pursue their dream of becoming involved in this part of the IT industry at a pace that suits them. Certainly for those who are currently employed doing their studies online means that they can still carry on earning a wage whilst gaining their qualifications, which will result in them actually getting a better-paid position in the future.

What actual course you actually do will depend on your level of expertise and experience. There are ones, which have been specifically designed for those students who are complete novices and are only just looking to become a computer programmer. Whilst there are other courses, which provide the students who have the knowledge and experience to further, enhance what they have and teach them about the latest versions of computer programming software that is available on the market.

When it comes to you finding the right school or course there are certain factors that you will need to take into consideration. Firstly it is important that you look for one where the qualifications that you obtain are actually recognized by companies. Therefore it is best if you choose to get your computer programming certification through an accredited school. Going online you will find a list of all schools that are accredited and can provide you with the course or courses that you require.

Secondly once you have found a school that you would be interested in attending you need to carry out some research in to the computer programming certification course they offer. Look closely at what kind of reputation the school has with regard to the qualifications and training it provides. Also look closely at the content of the curriculum, does it match what you are looking for. Also take a close look at just how many students they place into each class. The bigger the classes then the less chance of you being provided with the right kind of support you need.

Cisco CCNA Home Lab Study - The DTE & DCE Cable

by: gaobin

More Cisco CCNA, CCENT, and CCNP candidates than ever before are putting together their own home labs for their certification exam study, and that's a great trend - there's nothing like learning on the real thing!

Part of putting a home lab together is getting the right cables and understanding their usage. In this new Cisco home lab series, we'll take a look at the different cable types and how each fits into your home lab. The first cable type we'll look at is the multi-purpose DTE/DCE cable.

When I say "multi-purpose", I mean that while the cable will always perform the same task, it can be used in several different points in your home lab network. If you're going to have a frame relay switch - and you should get one if at all possible, since having your own frame relay cloud is a tremendous boost to your home lab studies and your exam score - you're going to need a DTE/DCE cable.

You can also use a DTE/DCE cable to directly connect two Cisco router serial interfaces and configure HDLC (the default) or PPP encapsulation over that point-to-point link.

Most of today's DTE/DCE cables have "DTE" clearly stamped on one end of the cable - actually, "DTE" is probably embedded into the connector itself. Naturally, the other end will have "DCE" clearly indicated. It's the DCE end that will connect to your frame relay switch. If you're going to use a direct connection to run PPP or HDLC, it almost doesn't matter which end of the cable is connected to a given router.

Keyword: "almost". You must use the clockrate command on the DCE end of the connection in order to bring the line protocol up.

If you're not sure which end of your DTE/DCE cable is connected to a given serial interface, just use the show controller serial command to get that information. Most of the output of that command isn't comprehensible, but what we need is right on top:

R3#show controller serial 1

HD unit 1, idb = 0x11B4DC, driver structure at 0x121868

buffer size 1524 HD unit 1, V.35 DCE cable

Naturally, if it's the DTE end, you'll see "DTE" there. And if you don't have anything connected to that interface, you'll see "no cable".

Whether you have your own frame relay switch or not, you'll want to pick up some DTE/DCE cables for direct connections between your Cisco home lab router's serial interfaces. Just don't forget to put the clockrate command on the DCE end of the cable! And if you're not familiar with a frame relay switch, check this same website soon for a tutorial that will show you how to set one up.

Just about any Cisco router can serve as a home lab frame relay switch, and once you've got it configured, you're in good shape - but it can be a little maddening to get it up and running in the first place. I'll show you how to avoid that aggravation in the next installment of this Cisco home lab tutorial series!

Handmade is a Great Choice

by: gaobin   Category: life

It's good to know there's a place you can go for fine, handcrafted jewelry and unique beaded bracelets to round out your jewelry collection. The best thing about handcrafted jewelry is being able to create something beautiful out of every day and man-made objects. You can take a piece of broken tile and make a pendant, find some sea glass and make a ring or a beautiful bracelet out of shells. Diamond, precious stones & semi-precious stones come to us at such a cost both financially & environmentally since many lives are lost in the effort to obtain them. There is so much corruption, inhumane working conditions in the regions where these minerals are mined that its hard not to wonder what is the story behind every stone. Big companies profit greatly from the riches they strip away from future generations and little is given back to those communities. Large companies like Petra, De Beers, Zales, and other large mining companies take away the business from the small local miners.

The desire to profit from the minerals mined in underdeveloped countries sometimes turn neighboring countries against each other. According to WorldPress.org, Sierra Leone's war over conflict diamonds began in March 1991 when "a few hundred men crossed over the Liberian border and attacked towns in eastern and southern Sierra Leone." Early in 1992, the Revolutionary United Front (R.U.F.), a ruthless rebel group seized Kono, the diamond mining capital of Sierra Leone. In an effort to stabilize the region and restore democratic civilian rule, the National Provisional Ruling Council (N.P.R.C.) became engaged in a war with R.U.F. rebels. The N.P.R.C. initiated "Operation Genesis" to drive out R.U.F. rebels, but was unsuccessful. The rebels, in turn, launched a vicious attack on Sierra Leoneans during the 1996 elections. To intimidate potential voters and to maintain control of the diamond mines, the rebels chopped off the hands and feet of adults, teens, children and even infants. In spite of these brutal attacks, the R.U.F. was invited to participate in the elections. But the rebels once again reverted to their depraved tactics, amputating civilians' hands and feet. This diamond based war lasted until very recently "killing an estimated 6,000 civilians and mutilating many more."

In 2002 some 49 countries agreed to the Kimberley Process, a certification system designed to prevent conflict diamonds and gems from entering the market. I read that critics stated " Global Witness say the process has been a joke. For one thing no independent, third party organization exists to ensure honest certification. Also, the agreement defines "conflict diamonds and gems" as products tied to rebel violence, a narrow definition that turns a blind eye to wrongs committed by corporations and legitimate governments. For instance, mine police in Congo have been known to imprison children and shoot civilians, yet Congolese diamonds are labeled "conflict-free" because the mine is government owned." And it does not end there. It is all over from Nepal to Belgium to Brazil to the US to Saudi Arabia.

Yet, when wearing "Create Your Style Swarovski Crystals" you get the feel of beautiful sparky diamonds but at 1/4 the cost and most likely no one's limbs cut off or killed in the process of making these crystals. Daniel Swarovski created a machine that would cut crystal to an unsurpassable level of perfection and precision. He and his partners found the ideal location for their company in Wattens, in the Austrian Alps. There were sufficient water resources there to power their machines. They were not stripping someone else's land for their gain. They built a huge family company with many different innovations and brands. Just one part or their corporation, the loose crystal elements, come in so many shapes and colors you are not limited to the typical color pallet or even the typical shape. Another favorite of mine is using vintage beads or dusting off an old piece of jewelry. You are in a sense recycling and bringing back to life something that was beautiful once and still is, it just needs to be revisited or mixed with more contemporary findings to fit the today's lifestyles.

Social Bookmarking: Free PR For Your Web Site Or Blog

by: gaobin

Social bookmarking is a way for Internet users to rank and store websites, blogs, articles, and videos. It is also a way for people who make money from web sites, blogs, and affiliate marketing programs to increase visibility and earnings.

Social bookmarking sites are particularly popular among people with affiliate marketing programs because such sites are a free and effective way to get backlinks and drive traffic to web sites and blogs.

If you have been thinking about promoting your web sites, blogs, or affiliate marketing programs through social bookmarking sites, this guide will help you get started.

How to Use Social Bookmarking Sites

First off, you need to find a social bookmarking site and register as a user. If you participate in affiliate marketing programs, your best bet is to choose one of the more popular sites, such as Digg, Del.icio.us, Reddit, or StumbleUpon. These social bookmarking sites have the most traffic and allow you to submit and bookmark web sites and blogs.

The next step is to get used to the site. To make the most of social bookmarking, you need to make sure that there are other users besides yourself who will be interested in your affiliate marketing programs, blogs, or web sites. Different social bookmarking sites have different types of users. Finding a site that works with your niche rather than against it is a must.

Finally, pay special attention to the blogs, web sites, and articles that are bookmarked the most and ranked the highest. This will give you an idea of what people like to see. Knowing your social bookmarking audience is essential, particularly if you are promoting affiliate marketing programs or niche-specific blogs.

How Not to Use Social Bookmarking Sites

Nobody likes a spammer. Social bookmarking users are no exception. If you want to promote your affiliate marketing programs, it is best to do it in a round about way. Sales copy will only make it so far up the ranking.

The blogs and web sites that do the best in the social bookmarking arena are those that offer entertainment, worthy news, or some sort of draw. In other words, don't submit content with a title like "Check Out These Affiliate Marketing Programs".

When submitting content to social bookmarking sites, it is essential that you stick to submitting quality content. Once you get traffic flowing into your web sites and blogs, the sales will follow naturally.

More Social Bookmarking Tips

A few other things you will want to keep in mind when promoting affiliate marketing programs and blogs through social bookmarking:

- Timing is everything. Articles that get at least 25 votes within the first 15 minutes will rise through the social bookmarking ranks faster than articles that get 25 votes in two days time.

- Opening several accounts on one social bookmarking site so that you can vote for yourself should be avoided. This will only damage you if you are promoting your own blogs and affiliate marketing programs.

- Get your friends to help. This is the easiest and best way to promote your blogs and affiliate marketing programs through social bookmarking.

You Can Succeed Making Money Online

by: gaobin

There are many people who say that you can not make money online, they will tell you that it is all scams. Then there are those who tell you that they tried and failed or knew some one who lost money. The problem more likely was that they went about marketing on the internet wrong. When you market online the correct way it will have dramatic effects on your outcome

You need to start by creating an effective marketing plan. There are some simple things that you need to include in that plan. You need to know your product and market, know who and where your prospects are and know your competition.

Getting to know the product or service that you are selling is a must, so make sure you use it yourself. When you use the product then you get to know the strengths and weaknesses of it. You will also have the ability to answer questions that your prospects may have about it.

Once the strong points are known then you have identified who your target audience is. You can now set up a marketing campaign promoting the strengths of the product. This will be advertising to your target audience and not to everyone. This is half the battle in internet marketing, too many people advertise to everyone and not there target audience. Look at commercials do car companies run commercials during children's programming, no that is not there target audience and a waste of time and money. You need to do the same on the internet.

Now you know your target market, so you need to know where your prospects are. Find out where they are online and be there also. Do not openly market your products to them as this will only turn them off. Get to know your prospects, what they are looking for and what problems do they have. Since you know your product and the strengths ands weaknesses you can figure out how your product can provide a solution for them. This is something to incorporate into your marketing campaign.

You will also want to study your competition. Get to know the strengths and weaknesses of their product also. Once you know the weakness you can point that out in your marketing also. See who they are advertising to and how they are advertising. Are they doing something that you can incorporate into your advertising?

Content should be the ONLY King!

by: gaobin

I've been reading about SEO for a couple of months now and been stuffed with tricks and tweaks about keywords and key strings. I have read all about black and white hat SEO and all recommended guidelines and I've started to think more and more about what everybody is screaming about in their articles. "Content is king" or "Content rules" they say. But why on earth do the search engines put so much weight on all the SEO tricks and tweaks? Isnt it time to get back to basics?

I'm talking about the vast importance of getting incoming links from high rank websites, the importance of the page title, the keywords, the keywords in the URL and so on. When people are searching for something on the internet, they are usually looking for information, looking for products they want or services they need. The content of a site should answer for the ranking of the results, not sites with tons of incoming links or tweaked websites. When I search for 攕wedish computer forum?I really want to find computer forums where they speak swedish and only forums for that matter, not high page ranked websites that frequently
contain the words computer, forum or swedish.

I know that it was first meant for the title, the meta keywords and meta description to summon up the content of a site, but today its only used and taken advantage of by skillfull webmasters to make their sites climb the ranks. I know what I'm talking about because I've tested alot of tweaks on a website of mine and with anly two rows of content I reached many top 5 rankings in only three weeks using keywords and key strings that had tough competition.

Now that the Internet is full of skillful SEO marketeers, wouldnt it be better if the 攕earch engine owners?put less effort in fiddling with formulas that include url, titles, meta tags, incoming links and all the other stuff we know about, and instead using content as the only ranking factor? Or at least make the distance between the importance of content and importance of all the SEO tricks, alot greater than it is today.

This takes me closer to the point I want to make. Why do web directories even exist on the internet? Arent the search engines enough? Well, the web directories exist simply because the search engines are not doing their job. People use web directories, mainly because they have already tried finding what they are looking for through ordinary searches, but havent found it. The reason for not finding what they are looking for could of course be that people dont know how to use search engines, but this only brings me to another existing problem which I'm not going to talk anymore about, namely that people learn how to use search engines when it should be the search engines that should learn how people are searching. This has alot to do with semantics so I'm leaving this subject to people who know more about it.

A search engine should be a huge single directory. What I mean by this is that when spiders crawl the web, the spiders should not only categorize the websites. They should be able to understand the essence of the content on a specific website in order to categorize the site. Only when this has become reality, the webdirectories would be obsolete and a search engine would be perfect. How come we havent reached this milestone yet? I bet there are people who have thought of this long before me. I believe I've found the answer to that but first....

think of all the advantages a perfect search engine would bring:

  • Webmasters wont waste time on SEO, instead they would emphasize on the site's content, bringing more quality to the Internet.
  • There wont be millions of sites about SEO, because it would be useless information. (Unless the sites would be about the history of SEO)
  • It would be easier to find what one is looking for, since search engines 攌now?how people search for information.

Overall the Internet would consist of more quality sites instead of what we have now - millions of pages with advertising, link directories and other useless information.

The only disadvantage I find is:

  • Less money for people who prosper on the Internet...

Well, what do you know? We're back to square one...
