Preparing Your Meals With A Pressure Cooker

For many years, I've been making the mistake of assuming that what I'd been served in Cyprus is Greek cuisine. But, due to the strong Turkish influence on the island, some dishes are about as Greek as the Sultan of Oman, and might well be familiar to someone from the Middle East, but wouldn't be recognized in Greece. Combine two cups of Bisquick mix with one and a half cups of milk and a pinch each of dried thyme and dried sage. Small, healthy snacks between meals stave off hunger and keep the body energized throughout the day. Rather than grabbing a bag of chips or a candy bar, munch on an apple or some carrot slices. While many believe that snacks are not allowed on a diet, healthy snacks are actually encouraged because they keep the metabolism working all day.

Heat the canola oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat; add the beef cubes and cook, turning to cook both sides, until lightly browned. Remove meat from the skillet to a slow cooker chicken stew slow cooker or crockpot.

Any casserole you make can be jazzed up with a vegetable. Onions are a good first vegetable. I hate the taste of onions but I love the flavor it gives other food. I just made some beef stroganoff and thought that broccoli would go well in it. My mom is visiting and helping and she agrees. When I asked how much to put in she said as much as there is meat. I was skeptical. It seemed like way too many vegetables but it was perfect. Cook the vegetable in with the meat or sauce and it take on its flavor.

Chef's salad. While the chef's salad isn't that bad, the problem is that it is 50% salad dressing, 30% real salad and 20% fillers like Styrofoam peanuts. The salad dressing also isn't real salad dressing, but an edible product made from recycle milk cartoons and discarded Eskimo pies. Eat this product at your own risk.

The important point is you can have great food, fellowship and not be subjected to the restaurant prices. Reserve the restaurant trips for special occasions.
