E-Learning

by: edunews   Keywords: learning

Lately distance learning gains more and more positive feedbacks all over the world. The growing number of personal computers and internet access possibilities attracts students to the idea of e-learning. The perspective to enter a higher educational establishment without leaving home is rather appealing to students and they get a wonderful addition to their resume. Only high prices can make you feel disappointed about the program.

The main difference between distance education and standard education is a personal approach. Internet is no longer accepted as a set of toys. Therefore e-learning is no longer just a set of CD’s that says “History 1” “Logics 2”. The entrance into the World Wide Web plays a great role. The student enters a system specifically designed to help him around, goes through pages, uploads and downloads assignments and receives consultation form a tutor.

It is without doubt very tempting to receive a diploma without leaving the office or an apartment. It is very convenient and relatively cheap. But there is no guarantee that the quality of education will be the same. Before you apply for any of such programs take a closer look at the program and its contents. You have to make a fair assessment of the parts of the course: text materials, number of tasks, assessment ways etc. Once you have checked for the reputation, legacy and other issues, you may feel free to enter and enjoy your educational process.
