               Thunder crashed and rumbled across the cave. A lightning revealed fourteen men on horseback before the darkness covered them.

         “I haven’t seen daylight for many days!” shouted Grimson as the sun rose. He and Relbert had just returned from a bloody war, they and only a dozen men had returned.                                                                                       

          When the sun set they started a camp. Grimson took a walk along the hairy bushes. When suddenly out of nowhere two figures appeared. The first began to speak “death awaits you!”

          Then the second said in a firm voice “You shall be murdered!” Then they vanished as how they had appeared, Grimson acted as nothing had happened and went to bed. Early next morning, the group continued with their journey towards Grindim.

          About an hour later they reached Oranth the end of Grindim’s defenses. The guards of Grindim escorted the army and the king to the castle of Grindim. That is also known as Gondor, the country of hope. When they returned they were greeted with women crying, the wives of the soldiers who had died in the bloody battle. When Grimson had finished changing his outfit he announced to have a victory party in the great hall. He even invited peasants. Actually he wanted to show everyone how powerful he was. When the servants brought the wine to Grimson, Grimson took the drink and drank it. At that instant he felt his throat tighten, but no one was aware that he was on the ground. Then Grimson remembered what the second figure said, he then breathed his last breath and died.

The Missing Necklace (3)

           Russel's gang was still searching for John and his mates. Meanwhile John and his group decided to go home and rest. The next day, John decided to meet his mates at the coffee shop nearby. After they met they went to the dark attic to investigate yestreday's case. They crept quietly through the dark alley leading to the attic. They had prepared a lot of things for this case. At last they reached the dark attic. Something was wrong about the attic. The attic was not dark, it was lightened up by a bright yellow bulb. But nobody was there. Suddenly three teenagers lept from the back of the attic and captured John and his mates. This time there was no way for John and his gang to escape..

The Missing Necklace(2)

            While John and his gang were walking pass Russell's house, a group of teenagers appraoched John. They captured John and his gang. The group of teengers lead John and his gang into a dark attic. Standing in the middle was Russell! Russell ordered them to tie John and his gang up. After that, Russell and the group of teenagers were discussing about something. Luckily John and his gang each had a pocket knife. They cut the ropes tying their hands and legs. Cling! John's pocket knife fell on the floor. The group of teenagers looked at John. John and his gang ran out from the attic as fast as they could. The group of teengares chased John and his gang. John and his gang managed to trick them at a corner. John said "Whew!That was lucky."                                                                                 TO BE CONTINUED ..........................

The Missing Necklace (1)

           One fine day, five detectives and their dogs went for a walk.While they were walking, they saw a suspicious acting man near the coffee shop. John the leader of the gang decided to follow him. The others also followed John. They wanted to know what the suspicious acting man was doing at the coffeee shop.

            Suddenly, John recognised the man's scar ! It was the person who had  stolen the necklace of the richest person in town, Mrs Lim. John and his gang decided to investigate. The name of the robber of the necklace was Russell. They  got all the information of Russell from Mrs Lim's neighbours. Russell lived at Block 215, Chong Pang Road. John and his gang decided to go to Russell's house. While Russell was out, John used a picklock to open the door.

           After John opened the door, his gang started to search for clues. After one hour, there was still no luck. They heard footsteps coming from the lift. They quickly opened the door, closed it and then quicly ran off  from Russell's house. Russell was surprised when he went into his house. It was very messy. He decided that someone is suspecting him for the missing necklace. He then alerted his gang  members that they are in danger. Russell's gang members started to panick but Russell himself did not. He told his gang that they would take revenge.
