After the demise of the wife, Barrister Nazmul Ahsan quits his job and takes to travelling. He makes a stop in Australia where his son Kamrul Ahsan lives. The play unfolds around the subsequent tension between the father and the son. The drama serial is written and directed by Mamunur Rashid. Dokkhinayon is aired every Thursday at 8:10pm on Banglavision.Mamunur Rashid, Dolly Zohur, Mahfuz Ahmed, Tomalika Kormokar, Chanchal Chowdhury and Nadia are the main cast members of the serial.
