How come when you convert a mov to an avi file the avi file only does the music?
Depends on your converter, make sure you have selected the right options. But the most likely cause is that you don't have a proper AVI player. The one I use is VLC player (windows media player is not very good at playing avi files).
Is there any easiest way to incorporate Subtitles into an avi movie clip? At the moment I am using multiple softwares to add subtitles in an avi movie clip and its really a hassel. Plus the size of the avi file increase too much after adding subtitles in it. I will appreciate any sort of help regarding this.
1)you can run a subtitle file with a AVI movie at the same time, it doesn't need to be IN the movie.
DIVX and VLC are two video players that allow this. how-tos are on the websites, and generally its something like "load subtitle file" when opening the video file.the newest VLC version does this automatically.
2)I know that VLC has some kind of file that stores the subtitles apart from the avi making it much smaller but i have no idea how to make 1
p.s.:I believe that the extension for the file above its .bin.
Hope it HelPs
3)I use a software called AVS4YOU, it is a great all in one software that you can do video editing, conversion and so on. I add titles in all my videos and you can do a lot with the design
