Network Liquidators names new CFO (Part 2)

Barry Shevlin, chief executive of Network Liquidators, told the Tampa Bay Business Journal in September that he was bringing in executives with experience in growing companies. The list includes Torres as well as Joe Serra, an executive vice president who was formerly with Tech Data.

"You have to have the right people in the right places, starting from the top and going all the way down through an organization," Shevlin said. "Even with our size this year at the $45 million level, we have to assemble a management team for a $200 million company."

Network Liquidators is a buyer and seller of pre-owned networking and telecommunications equipment in Tampa. Its 2006 revenue was $17.5 million, and Shevlin said the company was at the $45 million level in 2007.

Jabil Circuit (NYSE: JBL), based in St. Petersburg, provides electronics design, manufacturing and product management services to electronics and technology companies. Its 2007 revenue was $13 billion.
