BUSH'S BLACKLIST
Like the dark and sinister ways of Nixon and his enemy lists, George Bush and his staff have an ongoing effort to intimidate detractors. All who do not support his immoral invasion of Iraq and his illegal domestic spying program are smeared and disgraced in public.
Ex ambassador Wilson, CIA agent Valerie Plame, ex CIA officer Paul Pillar, various members of the press, and now CIA official Mary McCarthy have all been victimized by Bush for exposing the truth.
McCarthy supposedly leaked the existence of reinvented Soviet-era gulags into CIA prisons in Eastern Europe, while Bush authorized blowing the cover of covert op Plame. No intelligence capabilities were ruined by the leak of the secret prisons, which, by the way, are a violation of the Geneva Convention and Human Rights accords, and the disclosure of these CIA-run torture prisons appeared first in European papers over a year ago, far earlier than McCarthy’s supposed leak.
While no intelligence capabilities were destroyed by the leak of the secret prisons, Bush’s leak of Plame caused her cover to be shattered and a covert company was destroyed. Intelligence resources that were concerned with attempting to detect and protect America against weapons of mass destruction, were ruined in Bush’s leak.
Bush, who campaigned on bringing ethics and morality to the White House, has failed miserably. Bush is part of the problem and not the solution.
