WHAT'S NEXT MR. BUSH?

Bush, growing weary of war critics such as Cindy Sheehan's, who lost her son in Iraq and now is an outspoken critic of the Iraqi war, stated, "She doesn't represent the view of a lot of military families."

Using Bush's logic, one should support the Iraqi war because most military families support the war. For your informantion Mr. Bush, military families make up only a very small percentage of the total United States' population. Let's look at recent polls that represent all of America and see what we learn. Nearly 60 per cent of the population is against the war. Using Bush's logic then, since most Americans are weary of the war in Iraq, we should not support it and pull out.

Well, now Mr. Bush, what is the exit strategy in Iraq?

One must remember that exhaustive studies by the CIA, Congress, and the UN found no links between Saddam Hussein and al Qaida prior to the Iraq war. Prior to the war, Iraq wasn't even on the list that the Bush and his State Department put out of 45 countries where al-Qaeda was operating. Now,after America's invasion, Iraq's there. Al Qaida only entered Iraq after the Americans attacked her illegally on false assumptions (i.e. weapons of mass destruction). Also, since the war began in Iraq, nearly 20,000 innocent Iraqi women and children and close to 2,000 Americans have been killed.

Bush claims you are only an American if you support the war. He confuses patriotism with suppport for his agenda. Our Founding Fathers would vehemently object to this. As Thomas Jefferson stated, "Dissent is the highest form of Patriotism." Kudos to Cindy Sheehan and other dissenters!
