BUSH...MR. RHETORIC

Many Americans are concerned with the possible takeover of major American ports by DP World, an Arab, Dubai owned company based in the United Arab Emirates. This country is where some of the 9/11 hijackers resided and also is one the major financiers for al Qaeda.

Bush appears surprised that so many Americans are against the port takeover. Well, Bush should not be; for he has used weapons of mass deception and weapons of mass hysteria to install fear in most Americans toward Arabs.

Like Hitler who used fear and mass hysteria to blame and attack the Jews and others throughout Europe for Nazi Germany's problems, Bush, too, uses Arab terrorism to explain the failing economy, deficits, the use of the military to invade a country that was no threat to the US and to win reelection and solidify his waning powers.

Thus, it is no surprise that there is so much resentment against an Arab government controlled port company. Like it or not, Bush now reaps what he has sown.

George Bush lies as much as Richard Nixon did during Watergate. Bush is a compulsive liar and a person of dubious character.

Bush lied about his knowledge of bin Laden's threat to the U.S. prior to 9/11. Nearly 3,000 Americans were killed in the World Trade Center, and it was Bush, while on a five-week vacation in Texas in August of 2001, that he was provided with a briefing stating," al Qaeda to attack the United States of America." Bush did nothing. He didn't even contact the FAA to be on alert.

Bush exaggerated and lied about the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Utilizing weapons-of mass deception, Bush invoked fear in Americans about an attack from Iraq. Now with nearly 2500 Americans dead and over 35,000 Iraqis murdered, America is in its second quagmire.

We now know Bush lied about his knowledge of the New Orleans levee breach. The White House was informed early on Aug 29th, a couple of hours after Hurricane Katrina came ashore, of a levee breach and not on Aug 30th as Bush has exclaimed. As a result of Bush's inaction, over 1000 Americans perished.

Bush claimed he didn't know Abramoff. However,Bush had frequent contacts with corrupt, indicted lobbyist Abramoff and not just the one meeting alleged by Bush. Plus, Abramoff raised $100,000 for Bush's 2004 re-election and was invited by Bush to his Crawford ranch.

Finally, Bush and Cheney are responsible for leaking highly classified information and exposing a covert CIA agent's identity, Valerie Plame, for political reasons. According to indicted former-chief of staff Libby, he was "authorized" to leak classified intel by superiors (Cheney). Bush is a hypocrite . When it's convenient, Bush has leaked classified intel to favor his case. But when somebody else leaks information that's inconvenient, Bush raises hell about it (the illegal wiretapping) and demands an FBI investigation. How ironic!

Bush, a man of dubious character, three arrests, including theft, extensive drug use, and a compulsive liar, is ill suited to represent the honest, just and moral United States. Impeachment hearings should commence immediately.

BOEHNER...THE PROBLEM NOT THE SOLUTION

Recently, Republicans elected their new majority leader, John Boehner of Ohio. Boehner claims he is an honest man who values integrity and will not line his pockets with money. Well, Boehner has a lot of explaining to do.

Of the 535 members of Congress, Boehner is 10th in receiving privately funded trips. Boehner visited Green Briar Resort over eight times, Boca Raton six times, Scottsdale, AZ four times, Edinburg, Scotland to play golf twice, Rome, Venice, Brussels, Paris, Barcelona, etc. etc. Boehner is firmly against ending privately funded trips. He stated recently, "House Speaker Dennis Hastert’s proposal to end all privately funded trips would be counterproductive." Also, Boehner recently stated to The Washington Post, that "yes, I'm cozy with lobbyists!"

Although Boehner claimed recently on MEET THE PRESS that, "I’m telling you, I never met the man (Abramoff)," his own records list at least 17 contacts between Abramoff's lobbying team and Boehner's staff and one private session with Beohner himself. Why did Boehner lie on national television about his contacts with Abramoff? By the way, Boehner's Freedon Project PAC received $27,500 from Abramoff- represented Indian tribes, which Boehner refuses to return!

Boehner, a man of lies and deception, is ill suited to stem the tide of corruption that is engulfing the Republicans. He is part of the problem and not the solution! America needs a new, fresh, honest leader and Ohio must help by ousting the dishonest Boehner!
