BUSH AND CHRISTMAS

Recently, most Americans celebrated the birth of Jesus. Over two thirds of Americans claim to be Christians, including George Bush.

What is a Christian? The definition of a Christian is as follows: "One who believes, or professes to believe in Jesus Christ, and the truth as taught by Him; especially, one who’s inward and outward life is conformed to the doctrines of Christ." The disciples were called Christians first in Antioch (Acts 11:26).

Jesus’ teachings involved two commandments: "LOVE GOD, AND LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF." Jesus stated that this was the whole of God’s commands. Jesus advocted love and peace.

George Bush and his supporters advance war. Bush attacked a soverign nation, Iraq, by purposely distorting the nature of its weapons of mass destruction. Bush, on December 12th in Philadelphia, PA, stated he would have attacked Iraq regardless of its weapons of mas destruction. Now over 30,000 innocent Iraqi women and children have been murdered along with nearly 2,500 Americans.

Bush lied about his illegal surveillance of Americans and their communications. Bush authorized a secret Pentagon program for "detecting, identifying and engaging" internal enemies that included a database with information on peace protesters (Bush wants to promote democracy abroad, but limit it here in America). Also, Bush authorized the FBI's use of national security letters to obtain secret access to the personal records of tens of thousands of Americans

It's very ironic that Bush who proudly touts his religious convictions in public, would lie continuously to cover his illegal and immoral actions.

THE LAWLESS GW BUSH

George W Bush has contunued to act outside the law, thus portraying himself and America as immoral and unrighteous.

First, George Bush inflated pre-war intelligence on weapons of mass destruction to illegaly invade a soverign country, Iraq. A violation of internation law and what the Unitted States condemned Nazi Germany for at Nuremberg. Bush then stated at a December 12th speech in Philadelphia that he would have attacked Iraq regardless of the weapons of mass destruction.

Second, Bush, in violation of the UN Ban on Torture and the Geneva Convention, hid prisoners, tortured prisoners, and denied the Red Cross access to prisoners. The secret prisons were established by the CIA over four years ago that has included sites in eight countries, including Thailand, Afghanistan and several democracies in Eastern Europe, according to current and former intelligence officials.

Third, Bush authorized a secret Pentagon program for "detecting, identifying and engaging" internal enemies that included a database with information on peace protesters (Bush wants to promote democracy abroad, but limit it here in America). Also, Bush authorized the FBI's use of national security letters to obtain secret access to the personal records of tens of thousands of Americans.

Finally, Bush empowered othe National Security Agency's interception of telephone calls and e-mails from the United States -- without notice to the federal court that has held jurisdiction over domestic spying since 1978. Bush's comment on this is that he circumvented the law, which is in itself a violation of the law.

Bush is no stranger to violating the law. Since his early twenties, Bush was arrested twice-- instigating a fight and burglary, then again when he was 30 for DUI and violated the law for over 20 years with his repeated drug use (marijuana and cocaine). Thus, it should come as no surprise that this arrogant man continues to skirt the laws of this great nation.

Bush has abandoned our basic democratic and moral principles that endeared us to the world and has stooped to the enemy's level of hate, injustice, and immorality. Let's impeach Bush!

"WE DO NOT TORTURE!"

George Bush lies as much as Richard Nixon did during Watergate. Remember Nixon's famous outburst, "I am not a crook!" which came back to haunt Nixon in his final days in office. Likewise, Bush's arrogant lie, "We do not torture!" has done enormous damage to both his and America's credibility abroad.

The facts are quite evident. America and the CIA have been hiding and interrogating some al Qaeda captives at Soviet-era compounds in Eastern Europe, according to U.S. and foreign officials. The secret prisons were established the CIA over four years ago that has included sites in eight countries, including Thailand, Afghanistan and several democracies in Eastern Europe, according to current and former intelligence officials.

George Bush, by operating theses secret prisons where torture is commonplace, is in violation of numerous treaties and conventions, including the UN Ban on Torture and the Geneva Convention. Bush was quick to condemn the Iraqis for violating the Geneva Convention during the war, but the arrogant Bush believes he and the US are above the law, sending a dangerous signal to our allies and foes.

By torturing prisoners and denying them access to the Red Cross and legal counsel, Bush and the US have abandoned our basic democratic and moral principles that endeared us to the world and have stooped to the enemy's level of hate, injustice, and immorality.

America deserves honest and better leadership than Bush. Bush should be impeached for high crimes and misdemenaers---violating the Geneva Convention, Torturing, and lies.

God help America!
