BUSH'S MENTALITY: SHOOT FIRST, ASK QUESTIONS LATER
Bush's neighbor, Larry Mattlage, firing his rifle in the air to discourage war protestors sums up Bush's mentality on foreign affairs: shoot first, ask questions later. Bush, ignoring the accurate information of UN inspectors and CIA analysts that Iraq possessed no weapons of mass destruction, chose to attact Iraq.
As Bush was proved wrong once again, Iraq was not concealing any weapons of mass destruction and had no ties to al Qaeda.
Now with nearly 3,000 American soldiers dead and over 20,000 Iraqi women and children murdered by Amerca, Bush says he understands the pain and anguish grieving American mothers indure when their sons are killed in Iraq even though he claims he has never lost a close family member.
Why then has no Bush or Cheney family member enlisted in Bush's immoral war in Iraq? Why has not any Bush or Cheney family member done long term volunteer work at Veterans hospitals or in Iraq? When America was at war with Vietnam, Bush received preferential treatment in the National Guard and avoided Vietnam, while Cheney received an amazing 5 deferents during the same war. His administration is filled with "chicken-hawks" who were afraid to fight for America in the 1960s and 70s, yet do not blink when sending others into harms way.
With no exit strategy in site in Iraq, attacks and deaths increasing in tempo, the stubborn, naive, and immoral Bush claims he made no mistake in attacking Iraq.
