The Spider!

by: Seqkat

Mood: Actually, I'm laughing right now - after emailing Mama what happened to me with the spider, I thought - hey this is weblog material!
Listening to: Fish aquarium water again, and and Winkie, my Cavi drinking water from her water bottle

Okay, this is just me Seqkat, sharing a real life incident that happened to me this morning - that was quite a scare!

First of all you have to realize, I am a Ron Weasley when it comes to spiders - I'm scared to death of them - have been bitten by one once too - made me so mad.

I was walking into the utility room from the living room, when a large, spider about the size of a dime suspended down his web from the ceiling right in front of my face!!!  I mean, if I had walked in there half a second sooner, he would been on my head!!!!!!!!

Totally FREAKED me out!  I stood there and screamed for 7 seconds at least.  I think that startled him.  Then he started climbing back up his web, so I had to run and get a magazine, as the fly swatter was BEHIND where he was,(I wasn't about to go there!), and I hit him with the magazine, and missed him, and just hit his web, and he hit the carpet. I screamed again.  Then I hit him, and only hurt him.  I screamed again. Then I hit him again, and missed him!  I screamed again. And finally, I got him!

The following characters are all of my cats.

I was crying, (yes, I was that scared, I wasn't blubbering, but I wasn't happy okay?!) and Sequoyah came to see me.  Dusty and Sabria, (all of whom were originally sleeping), were sitting upright, like what on earth.  Tigre WAS in her bed.  She was gone, the blanket was all messed up, showing how she had flown out of there.  She was sitting by my bed in the bedroom, craning her neck to see if it was safe, which got me to laughing hysterically.  Which I have no room to laugh at her being a chicken, after all that chicken clucking I had just
done!

Anyway, the spider is gone, all is safe for the MOMENT!  (Seqkat says, looking behind her to make sure no spider is sneaking up on her)

My love to you all - I wish you spider free days!  God bless!

In His Joy,
Seqkat
