appollohosting.mo.cn is apollo hosting review site, and had been hosted with apollo web hosting since few months ago. Its my personal website hosted with apollo hosting, and i am running web hosting reviews as a hobbies. Well, thing get serious, and i am running over 60 web hosting review sites like this one.

Apollo hosting is a great web hosting provider. And this getting more clearer after i signup a shared hosting account with them, and even reviewed their vps hosting plan and server package as well.

One thing to note is that, apollo hosting control panel is uses plesk control panel, not cpanel or vdeck or h-sphere control panel. Usually i only get plesk control panel from vps hosting plan, and its a supprise i can get these at shared hosting plan as well.

Before sign up with Omnis hosting, its better to check on their hosting control panel, and get a demo test run before ordering it. Omnis hosting is not using cpanel control panel. Omnic control panel is like the screen shot below, which i capture from my omnis account.

Database will be the heart of your website, and the most importantly is that its reliable and in fast speed supplying data to php script request. Over the 5 years in various hosting experience, i had come across many kind of database, and some are really slow, slow until i cant do my work online, and the website is slow and delayed. Those hosting really sucks. This the reason for reviewing the database and mysql database performance as well.

As you may already know, this hostican review blog is hosted with hostican base-host. Hostican base-host provide up to 50 unique database to be created. And this blog is using wordpress blog script and backend is using the mysql database. Its just one database with 10 tables for this blog. The database is growing constantly as i keep posting new article into this host ican review blog.

As i noticed in the pass month with hostican hosting, this hostican website speed is still running fast and the database is performing well. I login to wordpress admin very oftenly and those admin pages require lots of mysql interaction. At the footer, i can always see the response time take for the page to be prepared. its very common for only less than half a second. Thats amazingly fast.

I am not familiar with postgresql database, so this review will not cover it. For the mysql its in the same server as the hosting server, thus guarantee much better uptime. With localhost database, the downtime is minimised as well. PhpMyAdmin is full features and running fast.

Protecting your personal information is important, as this can prevent your email address appearing when someone doing  the WHOIS check on your domain name. Thus can avoid many unwanted spammer emails. However, anhosting does not offering domain privacy feature at this moment.
