Portsmouth Brownies
We would like to thank the 80th Portsmouth Brownies, of St Mary's Church, Portsmouth for the wonderful gesture of decorating and filling pencil cases for the children in Luxor. The Brownies who are ages 8 - 10 years have decorated plain pencil cases with their own designs and then put pens and pencils inside them.
The idea came from Lynne Weyman one of our supporters and we are grateful to her for her time and effort. The pencil cases will be taken to Luxor at the end of May and will be distributed to disadvantaged children. Photos of the pencil cases will be put in our next newsletter.
