Football Boots
With the great generosity of the Adidas sportswear company and the goodwill of the UK Trading Standards authorities, Little Stars has been donated 150 pairs of new football for the poor children of Luxor. This is enough to provide for several football teams in the outlying villages and we are very grateful to both organisations.
We have also been donated some large bags and very good quality children’s shoes and clothing to distribute between various charities. These would make a difference in many children’s health now that the cold weather has arrived.
The problem that Little Stars has at the moment is how to get the items to Luxor from the United Kingdom without having to pay large sums of money that has been earmarked for other things. If you know of a transport company, or import/export company that deals with Egypt and might be able to help us get these things to where they are needed most then please let us know.
