Job Description: As a member of an Investment Technology team, you will report to the Senior Manager, Software Development and your role will be to perform front-end (GUI) development and support tasks in support of the business needs of Investment Management professionals. The technology team consists of a team of approximately 13 people, working with a team of 4 others in Hong Kong, including developers, business analysts and desktop support staff. You will participate in analysis design, development, testing and support efforts related to the Order Management software used by our Fund Managers in Asia region. This position requires 8-10 years experience in object-oriented development utilizing Sybase/MS SQL Server databases.
Participate in requirements gathering, documentation and project planning for systems enhancement projects.
Design and develop user-friendly and flexible systems with a reliable and scalable architecture.
Give direction to other developers on application development tasks and review their code.
Writing stored procedures and ad hoc database queries.
Perform functional testing of the application
Interact with other systems partners in Boston, London, Hong Kong and India.
Participate in strategy discussions for improving our systems to best serve the needs of Investment Management professionals
