The story was about an angel who accidentally emails a boy on earth. In 2005 began to illustrate for other authors as well as write and illustrate his own works. Over a dozen books were published featuring Collier's works that year. Most notable work included Esther's Channel , Topsy Turvy Land (written by Donna J. Shepherd,) Diligence the Dragon , Journeys of Hope , Tales from Kensington Forest , and The Adventures of Peter Potato. Since, Collier has had over 60 books published as author or illustrator.
