Kevin Scott Collier entered the teen/children's book market in 2004 with his debut title, barthpenn@heaven.org published by Baker Trittin  Press. The story was about an angel who accidentally emails a boy on earth.

In 2005 began to illustrate for other authors as well as write and illustrate his own works. Over a dozen books were published featuring Collier's works that year. Most notable work included Esther's Channel, Topsy Turvy Land (written by Donna J. Shepherd,) Diligence the Dragon, Journeys of Hope, Tales from Kensington Forest, and The Adventures of Peter Potato.

Since, Collier has had over 60 books published as author or illustrator. Joy the Jellyfish, written by his author wife, Kristen Collier, published in October 2007, features Kevin's best illustration works to date.

Kevin's artwork has captured the attention of critics and his writing has been compared to that of C. S. Lewis. He resides in Grand Haven, Michigan, is Art Director for a daily newspaper and teaches writing and art instruction classes.
