HP Photosmart C4780 All-in-One Printer
The install and connection to the network went flawlessly. The print quality is very good. Unfortunately, the HP scanner software does not work with Vista. I spent countless hours on the phone with HP tech support. The case was finally referred to the Engineering Department. They are aware of the problem but don't have a fix yet.
By the way, you can use the scanner with the "Windows Photo Gallery" program. I really like the small footprint and the print quality of this all-in-one, and therefore I didn't return it. I will just use the other program until HP can come up with a fix. Because the HP software doesn't work for scanning, I cannot use the button on the printer to scan. I have to go through the PC.
