What Is The Secret To Curing a Golf Swing

"What Is The Secret To Curing a Golf Swing "
by Andy Kidson

"What Is The Secret To Curing a Golf Swing When Nothing Up To This Point Has Worked at all For You?"

Are you fed-up dealing with a nasty Golf Swing when you go out to play a round with your friends, family, or co-workers ?
Not to mention the embarrassment when your ball ends up in the rough?

Are you ask yourself after a bad round "Why am I playing this sport at all" ?

Have you tried all the latest training aid's only to find that your
Golf Swing cannot be stopped by some gizmo you just spent 200 bucks on ?

Have you gone to the range and somehow you start to hit perfect golf
shots, saying to yourself... "I think I've cracked it, I think I've
cracked it" ... then when you hit the course your score card still
looks pretty poor ?

Or are you the type of golfer that wants to improve, and is spending
countless dollars on lessons and expensive clubs,...

A Breakthrough in the Golf Swing

A Breakthrough in the Golf Swing!!!
by Alan Hipps

This is a personal story about a breakthrough I had at the driving
range one day earlier this year. I was wrapping up practicing a move
I've been working on that would really simplify my golf swing when a
gentleman, a couple, and two more gentlemen walked out to hit balls on
the range. As I was walking off the range and up to the clubhouse one
of the gentleman asked if I was the pro there. I told him that I wasn't
but I did teach. He told me I had a nice and simple looking swing, and
that he wishes his was as simple as mine looked. I told him I'd watch
him hit a couple of balls and see if I could suggest something. Those
were the best and most productive words I uttered this year.

He hit a couple of balls with his 8 iron that were solid and pushed to
the right, he then hit a couple more that did the same thing. I
hesitated, and thought a minute about a process of learning the golf
swing that I was working on,...

GOLF - About the Rules

GOLF - About the Rules
by Kevin Keene

If you know that you don't know everything about the rules of the golf, the most obvious solution is to get a rule book and read it. Or, first, read this article below.

It's quite interesting and knowing the rules well can save you strokes at times. The rules also state, right up in the front of the rule book "Play the course as you find it." In other words play the ball down and the course conditions are the same for everyone.

I hate tournaments that play "winter rules" except for scrambles. Playing winter rules or preferred lies is not playing golf. Than again scrambles aren't really golf either, but are a lot of fun. Trust me on this, if you're not playing the ball as it lies you will hinder the progress of your improvement.

The other thing which will most slow your improvement down is "creative scoring." Someone has a great saying he uses in regard to this matter. "I make my...

The History of Golf

History of Golf
by RecruitCity

The history of golf has roots deep in the history of man since for the past five hundred years they have at some point or another taken a stick to a ball or rock. Thus making it difficult to determine just when the sport was created and put a timeline to golf history. So exactly who is credited with inventing golf and developing golf history? Well, it was really a collaboration of a number of countries and the efforts of many men hitting objects with a stick. Understandingly, with such a wide description of how the game was developed it left it wide open for everyone to claim ownership. So basically everyone has laid claim to originating the game and contributing to the history of golf. Scotland may be the most prominent along with China, Italy, England, Belgium, Holland and France. So while the Scots may be most regarded as developing the game there is no clear title holder. Some theories claim that shepherds first started the game by hitting rocks across...
