At that time it was possible to record only 25 minutes of audio in one record.
A big misfortune happened in 1940 for Royal National Institute especially for blind. The prestigious institute was destroyed badly by a bomb blast. Unfortunately lots of important things which were kept for creating new audio books were lost. 'American Foundation of the Blind' gave its hand to Royal National Institute at the needy time to create audio books.
