I have probably purchased tens of thousands of dollars on software through my travels with a computer going back to the Commodore. Expecially since I have been involved with internet marketing. I have purchased HTML editors, word processing suites, most of the programs Adobe has to offer, and many others I will never use.
GNU for the novice just starting out has all of those programs and more. The selections of free software is more than anyone has room for on their computer. I know, I have tried.

I have used many of the programs like the Kompozer which is an HTML editor for both Windows, Linux and Mac. I also have used Open office and it rivals MS Word plus it has a formula program in addition to a power point, spread sheet, and data base that MS Office provides. Summery: I sell software on my site that has how to books, and programs that help drive traffic to you site. However as far as application software goes, NVU can't be beat.
