GNU, the greatest source of FREE software on the planet.

GNU, the greatest source of FREE software on the planet.

I have probably purchased tens of thousands of dollars on software through my travels with a computer going back to the Commodore.  Expecially since I have been involved with internet marketing.  I have purchased HTML editors, word processing suites, most of the programs Adobe has to offer, and many others I will never use.

GNU for the novice just starting out has all of those programs and more.   The selections of free software is more than anyone has room for on their computer. I know, I have tried.

In each section noted in the left column (below) there are up to 10 categories with a plethora of titles in each category.  I especially like a math scrabble game called TuxMathScrabble  http://www.asymptopia.org/

I have used many of the programs like the Kompozer which is an HTML editor for both Windows, Linux and Mac.   I also have used Open office  and it rivals MS Word plus it has a formula program in addition to a power point, spread sheet, and data base that MS Office provides.  It has versions for Windows, Linux, Soloris, Mac, and more. For more software, how to material, and scripts to use on your site for advertising, application or to use with MYsql.    Register for my newsletter and you can pick one as a complimentary gift.  There are tons of programs that help drive traffic to your website and you can choose from the 26 pages of products on my site. Sign up for a tour of the back office and receive 3 of your choice. Matter of fact in addition to that gift maybe you can use this great little color picker for your web or graphics chores.

Summery: I sell software on my site that has how to books, and programs that help drive traffic to you site.  However as far as application software goes, NVU can't be beat.
