The best boots ever!!

I love these boots! If I could, I wouldn't ever take them off - they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, period. It was very easy to purchase them and they came on time and in perfect condition. Definitely would purchase from this seller again!

cozy and warm but absolutely NOT water- stain resistant

I was very excited to get this boots, so I wore them 3 times and on my 4-th time I was very disapointed to feel my toes soaking wet and my socks had brown color stains from my beautiful, cozy FitFlops boots. Very upsetting

FitFlops have ruined me for other shoes

I lived in my FitFlop sandals for the last three summers, but was always sad to put them away for the winter. So, when these boots were announced, I SO looked forward to owning a pair. They live up to my FitFlop expectations: I spent 20 hours in them on Black Friday (I work two retail jobs) and my feet were perfectly comfortable, which is more than I can say for my other coworkers who worked a fraction of that time on that day.
Initially, the back of my right ankle rubbed against a seam in the boot, and I almost got a blister there, but that was literally after that one long black Friday weekend. I've been wearing them everyday since, and I've not had that happen again.
A bonus is that I don't need to wear socks with them, so that I don't have to hunt for socks to keep my feet warm in other shoes: they're already so warm! Plus, I think if you do wear socks with them, that will probably encourage foot odor.
I love my fitflop sandals, and I'm so happy that these boots live up to the expectations of comfort and durability.
(ps, I don't believe that these shoes will make anyone fitter. I go to the gym for fitness. But, these shoes are SO comfortable, that they will definitely encourage more activity in the wearer.)

Like walking on air!

The crocs clogs are the best investment I've made yet for my feet. I am disabled with arthritis in the knees and these shoes make it so much easier to walk! My crocs are so comfortable, I forget they are on my feet.

Comfy

After 15 years of nursing, these shoes have saved my career. I no longer have the pain I would have after 2 to 3 hours of working. I highly recommend them to all. They are ugly, but I could care less. I don't hurt anymore.

Acer Aspire One AOD150-1577 10.1-Inch Diamond Black Netbook - 6.5 Hour Battery Life

Acer Aspire One AOD150-1577 10.1-Inch Diamond Black Netbook - 6.5 Hour Battery Life

i bought this about 1 year ago...

and at first it was a great computer.. now i see its flaws. the speakers in it are messing up so music/videos sound terrible, it overheats ALOT, and 7 keys on my keyboard are broken (iv tried everything to fix them, the keyboard itself broke, not there sticky, dirty, etc) admittedly i could buy a replacement keyboard buy im to lazy, and not rolling in money. its processor is terrible and graphics card very weak. the only reason why im not giving it a 1 star is cause im surprised it lasted a year.... >.<

Buying Acer Aspire One AOD150-1577 10.1-Inch Diamond Black Netbook - 6.5 Hour Battery Life

You get what you pay for

I bought this for a few reasons:

1) I wanted a small laptop to carry around in my purse
2) I wanted a brand new computer that was not loaded down with stuff, because I was tired of the speed of my ten year old mac ibook.
3) I chose Acer for the price, and because when I played with them in a store, the Acer seemed to be of higher quality than the other netbooks out at the same time.
4) I chose this particular one because, though it was still small enough to fit in my purse, it was the bigger of the 2 smallest Acer computers, and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to type on anything smaller
5) I loved the red
6) I bought it when I did because they had run out of batteries for it, and were sending out extended life batteries to anyone who ordered during that time

It is not a terrible computer. I would've given it 2.5 stars if I could have, but 2 or 3 were what I had to choose from, and I hate it more than I love it. It is small enough to fit in my purse, and I quickly got used to the smaller keyboard. The red is very pretty, though it got scratched, so there is an area that the red paint has already come off. That sucks. I had someone remove all the junk applications that came on it, and I loaded AVG and Open Office (the Microsoft Office that comes on it is temporary and stops working after 3 months). I've also loaded my entire iTunes library and some pictures. My available space is still almost entirely available. Even with that being the case, this computer is slow. It is unacceptably slow. There is no excuse for it to be as slow as it is. Can I say that another way? My ten year old mac ibook had a reason for being slow. This computer that I just bought less than a year and a half ago and have barely added anything to should not be. It has no right.

My biggest complaint about this computer is difficult to put into words. It would be so much easier to demonstrate, but I will try to explain it. If I hit the shift key to capitalize the first letter of a word, and then I keep typing, if it is acting slow and not keeping up with my typing, when it finally spits out what I wrote, it has neglected to capitalize the letter I commanded it to, but instead has capitalized an entire sentence because those were the letters it processed in the same moment it processed that I hit the shift key. Does that make sense? So I may have actually typed "I went to the store to buy some eggs," and what my computer will type is "i WENT TO THE STORE TO BUy some eggs." OH, this pisses me off! I am a very fast and accurate typist, and this slows my typing time to about half, because I continually have to delete everything it wrote, and slowly retype it the way it should've done the first time. I would not have purchased this computer if I had known about this glitch. I'd never heard of a computer doing such a thing, and there is simply no excuse for it.

On a similar note, something I think it does for the same reason as it does the above mentioned nonsense, but I felt I had to list separately for people who aren't super fast typists, and therefore think the above problem won't affect them: Another thing it does is if, say, I type out a whole document and then hit "Ctrl A," to select the whole page, and then "Ctrl C" to copy it, a moment later, all I am left with is a C on the page. Even though I was definitely holding the Control key at the same time as the C, it forgets that and wipes out all my text and replaces it with just a C. All you have to do then is immediately go to Edit, Undo, but you shouldn't have to even do that. This is ridiculous.

Another problem with it is lately the ONLY USB port seems to be getting tired. Sometimes it won't charge my iphone or ipod, or it will give up before it is done. It caused me more than a little bit of panic and aggravation last week when midway through an iphone update, after my iphone had been completely wiped of all my personal information and applications, it stopped updating. I couldn't use my phone for 14 hours because that is how long it took before I could convince the computer and USB port to finish the update. I know it was the fault of the USB port because the error iTunes kept giving me was the error code that said the interruption was a bad USB cable or port, and not only was I using a brand new iphone cable, but I even tried a different one with the same result. So I don't have a lot of faith that this USB port will last much longer.

On a side note, that I really don't think is the computer's fault (though I don't know, it could be), web pages do not realize or care that you are on a teeny tiny laptop. They do not compensate for it. You have to scroll back and forth to see the whole page, and sometimes you cannot even access certain things you would be able to see and access on a normal sized laptop or computer.

The one credit I'll give this computer is that, though it wasn't meant to be, it has become my primary computer. And I use the computer A LOT. It is on 24 hours per day, and I only shut it off about once a month for the night. Additionally, I am actually using it for about 15 hours most days. So for being a cheap and crappily made little sorry excuse for a computer, I'll give it props that it's held up under my heavy use of it.

The one other thing I'll compliment is not the computer, but the extended life battery. I get about 9 hours of use from it. That is pretty awesome.

All in all, I'll say I am sorry I bought it, but for the price I paid, I guess it's not that bad of a computer. Just realize that you get what you pay for, and just because it's shiny and new does not mean it will be a good computer, so don't make the mistake I did and expect it to be.
