Pretty cool, but wireless isn't too good.

This is a great mini PC. If you are going to use it for internet, light word/excel, photos, etc then it is perfect. I put this in my basement and it suits the purpose it was purchased for. Doesn't take up lots of space which is a big plus. SD card in the front for easy loading of files. Windows 7 a bit slow on this machine. Not really too much bloatware on it as others commented on.

a very good box with some minor problems

So far so good.
Pro:
It's quite and adequate for web browsing, office document processing. This little guy can play 1080p video by installing software which supports Nvidia GPU computing.

Con:
I hook logitech keyboard to the box, and it take 2 min to boot up. Machine keep checking devices for too long. There is no problem when switching to acer keyboard from the original package. Also other keyboards may not allow you enter BIOS which takes me a lot time to figure out.

Canon Xsi - love it

I purchased the Canon XSi with the kit lens, Canon 70-300 usm lens, & Canon 2400 gadget bag as a gift for a friend. She loves it and I knew she would because I have the same camera and numerous Canon lenses. Both our cameras got a work out in Yellowstone and we got great wildlife, landscape, and people shots. Love that the large selection of Canon Lenses from our Canon SLR film cameras, also work well with the XSi. We can now just keep expanding our indiviudal lens collections, which will also work with other Canon Cameras if we progress to a newer or upgraded model in the future. Great camera for a decent price. The bag is a perfect fit for the camera, a couple of lenses, and accessories. Purchasing from Amazon, as always, was simple and shipping was fast (all 3 items shipped directly from Amazon). The reviews provided on the Amazon site were very helpful in letting me find the perfect lens to purchase with the camera. Brother PC-420 PRW Limited Edition Project Runway Sewing Machine

A machine to love! Amazing for the price

I'm completely in love with this machine. I came to Amazon looking for the PRW model that Consumer Reports recommended and came away with this one instead. It does SO much so easily and is such a step forward from the sewing machines of my youth. This is way beyond the Berninas I trained on in the late 1970's - and which, in current dollars, would have cost the equivalent of $9000 (10% inflation rate - actual price was $900). Regardless of past history or comparisons, this machine is designed to make you happy.

The one thing I will caution you about is please be sure that you test it thoroughly within your 30-day Amazon guarantee period. Brother's customer service gets a 1 point rating from me. It would be 0 if 0 were possible. I did have a short issue with performance because I was test-driving a quilt project that proved to generate an unusually high amount of dust in the bobbin housing. The solution is to grab your vacuum about once every 4 hours of use and apply it at high suction to the bobbin chamber. The little brush Brother provides for cleaning is useless.

Otherwise, almost too good to be true - and the price keeps dropping!

Great product for the price

I read all of the reviews for the Sanyo VPC-CG10 and although there are a few things that could be better for the pricing there is no better product in this class. I have taken both still pictures and hi-def video and to average photographer the quality is just fine. Home movies, graduations, whatever you need it for it just works. If you want professional grade this isn't your camera but for the average Joe it works great and the price can't be beat.

Great camera for backpacking

I took the Xacti on my backpacking trip through Connecticut on the Appalachain Trail the first week of May. We had hot and humid weather and lots of rain. The camera was easy to use. I kept it in a pocket on my shoulder strap so I could easily get it out. The video was clear and crisp. The still pictures were great. When I got home, I edited the video and made a movie using both the video and the still pictures. This camera is so easy to use - even me - a 60 something woman - could use it. I would recommend this to anyone who normally uses a simple digital camera - now you can add video and dazzle your friends.

Great product

There are so many pluses to this product. it is important to note that I never owned a video camera or still camera before (except for a cellphone), but I really could not expect more from this camera. It is extremely easy to use, it turns on really fast and is ready to shoot. The video is really clear, but some of my still pics come out blurry. Maybe i have to mess around with the settings, but it seems like you have to keep your hands really steady and wait like 2 full seconds after hearing the picture snap. It's very portable and sleek looking. I gave mine to my mom for mother's day, but plan on buying another for myself.

Garmin GPSMAP 76 With English And French Manual/packaging

Proven handheld very reliable

I have used and abused this handheld Map 76 for 5 years. It has been onboard with me from alaska to New Zealand. I often crew on lots of other peoples vessels and I am always glad to have this little GPS with me. I have the Blue Chart America CD downloaded with the California to Mexico portion of detailed maps as that is where I usually cruise and they have great detail. The battery life is exceptional although I usually attach it to a cig lighter outlet whenever I can to save batteries. On my Catalina 42 I have a bicycle mount on my Binnacle and a plug that integrates it with power and data to my auto pilot. The little GPS runs the whole boat from that connection to my Raytheon instruments. I also save all my traks and download them to my computer to save information and routes. It is also useful to study races to see where I have called the wrong tactics on the race course. I also own the updated color version of this unit but in reality I prefer the interface and practicality of this Grayscale version. If I had to choose one I would pick the Map76 without the color. You can usually find the BlueChart CD on line for under $100.00 and that is much more valuable than the Color version that cost about a $100.00 more.......begold

Not Mac compatible, hard to create waypoints

I haven't seen this written explicitly, anywhere, so here goes: This thing isn't mac compatible. Using a serial to USB converter, and some free software (Garmin software will be no help) you can get to the gps data on windows, but good luck if you're on a mac.

Also, it is really hard to create new waypoints on the water. This is because if you try and create a waypoint too close to a known feature (such as a highway, intersection, or BODY OF WATER), the GPS will try and use the center of the feature (or something like that). So, to create waypoints over water, your only solution is to manually enter the lat and long (you can't use the cursor to select a point).
