Description:
Adhere to all firm-mandated controls and compliance initiatives
Communication with Global teams – Issue escalation and requests to global Engineering or Deployment team
Monitoring and capacity planning reporting.
Assisting with Maintenance of CITMP documents and creation of new processes for process improvement.
SSM/VTM exception report and management tracking
Communications with business units via the appropriate channels provided by CSJ, for maintenance, scheduled outages or outage situations.
Support operating systems, including those hosting in house applications or 3rd party applications
Perform Business as Usual Tasks involving trouble shooting and monitoring
Preparing and maintaining KPI, capacity weekly reports.
Hardware replacement and co-ordination with vendors.

Communication in spoken and written English, Japanese will be an addition
5-6 Years working experience on Solaris OS
Sun Server hardware knowledge/ Familiarity with 200+ hardware products
Hands on experience on Solstice Disk Suite Veritas/ODS/SVM or Volume Manager
Working experience on NIS/NIS+/DNS/DHCP environment
Experience on Hardware/OS event Monitoring and tracking
Well versed on Package/Patch administration
Knowledge of any of the backup product preferably legato NetWorker
Shell/Perl Scripting
Knowledge of SAN/NAS an addition
Sun Certified System Administrator on 2.8 or Latest
