At Tallinn, Joe Cole gave England a 37th-minute lead with a spin and volley from the edge of the area before Beckham set up second-half goals for Peter Crouch and Michael Owen with crosses from the right. Beckham had been dropped from the roster after the World Cup by new coach Steve McClaren, then was recalled for last week's exhibition game against Brazil. Beckham, returning after 10 months away, set up two goals at Estonia. England (4-1-2), which is home for four of its last five qualifiers, is fourth in Group E with 14 points, three behind Croatia (5-0-2) and Israel (5-1-2) and one behind Russia (4-0-3).
