Morten Rasmussen in Denmark’s squad for Euro 2008 qualifiers
Morten Olsen, Denmark coach has called up striker Morten Rasmussen for the first time in Denmark’s squad for next month's Euro 2008 qualifiers. Rasmussen is popularly known by the nick name “Duncan” for his similarity in playing style to the former Everton FC and Scotland striker Duncan Ferguson. Defenders Kasper Bogelund and Martin Laursen will also return after overcoming a series of injuries. Denmark's squad has also included veteran forwards Jon Dahl Tomasson, Martin Jorgensen and Jesper Gronkjaer for the June 2 and June 6 games against Sweden and Latvia. Denmark is in the fourth place in Group F behind Northern Ireland, Sweden and Spain and Latvia in fifth place, but with a match in hand.

Defenders: Daniel Agger, Jan Kristiansen, Kasper Bogelund, Lars Jacobsen, Leon Andreasen, Martin Laursen, Michael Gravgaard, Niclas Jensen.
Midfielders: Christian Poulsen, Daniel Jensen, Dennis Rommedahl, Michael Silberbauer, Rasmus Wurtz, Thomas Kahlenberg.
