I have already been asked out on three dates since then, one I turned down, definitely not my type, second one yet to happen and another one emailed today. Only bad thing is I can't remember him at all and really think can I be bothered with it all. Yes I have looked at online dating and have run a mile, it seems so primal to me, for lack of a better word. So I thought speed dating might be less intrusive and a more casual environment, but now the greatest fear may happen, what if no one ticks your box, ie what if no guy there thinks that I am worth a second date, the fear and rejection are starting to terrify me! Lets see I have liked this guy (ex workmate) for nearly three years and at one time I was for sure he was going to ask me out (dropped the line that he was going to the pub on Friday night and then asked what I was doing, to which I hastily replied I was busy, to which he replied, starting to see why I need help?). Anyhoo he invited me out to his leaving drinks (he is off on a working holiday) two weeks ago, as I left he gave me a big hug and declared that he loved me and that I was one of his closest and most supportive friends (yes that very ugly F word).
