Vinyl records

I just brought a dozen of my old vinyl records home from my mom's basement from the Christmas holidays. But how come nobody's as excited about them as I am? I think it's just the coolest thing, that record players are available for a reasonable price again. But I'm not going to use mine to make some freaking Mp3's out of them, I want to listen to them just the way I did when I bought them.

But out of some reason, nobody seems to understand how cool it is to put the needle on the rill and wait for the tray to spin a couple of rounds until it reaches the music. Could it be that people actually like stuffing these acustically totally senseless little plastic buds in their ears and then listen to some boring chart stuff coming from a gadget that looks like a cigarette lighter?

Go figure!

Der Sperrmüll wurde heute abgeholt. Den Schrott haben sie alles mitgenommen, aber mich haben sie noch stehen gelassen. Schönheit vor Alter.
