You can help to protect Luxor
Luxor is a wonderful place to live and Europeans are very privileged to be allowed to stay here. We are surrounded by Egypt’s history and its culture. Most of us are grateful for that and thank the authorities for making this possible and for creating a safe environment for ex-pats to live in. However, it is not that safe for some of the local youths.
We want to thank the Tourist Police and the authorities in Luxor for everything they do to preserve what is best of Luxor and for trying to eliminate its less good aspects. It is not an easy task. Some terrible things are written on the Internet about Luxor being the gay capital of North Africa and it must be made clear to all visitors that Luxor is primarily a place for couples and for families. The label can be removed but it will need your help to do it.
Our tales may be risqué and it may be haram to treat such a serious problem with humour but it did get your attention and that was the intent of the Committee members. Only by being aware can we protect Luxor's youth. The tales will continue for as long as they are needed however long that might be. So the next episode will be uploaded soon.
Luxor is a great place to live. Make it an even better place. Make it somewhere that visitors and residents alike can walk without hassle. Support the Tourist Police and rid Luxor of its undesirables.
