Almost all vehicle owners of Ford, Lincoln and Mercury SUVs, pickup trucks, vans, as well as the other type, brand and models of cars. They are being told to bring their automobiles to the certain dealer repair shop not because not for the problem of there auto body parts but for the safety defect, that have the cruise control switch to be disconnected due to the policy of the National highway traffics Safety Administration. Failure to have the switch disconnected could lead to a vehicle fire at any time, whether or not the key is in the ignition, and whether or not owners use the cruise control system. The safety agency said the fire danger is present regardless of the age of the vehicle and could even occur while the vehicle is parked and unattended. Several dwelling fires have been attributed to the problem. It is a good that we just have to follow the regulation for our own safety.
