For first time pickups that is Eligible
I’m one of the Americans that really like utility vehicle like pickup trucks because, they are a manly car, with truck parts that are durable and can be used anywhere. But have you ever notice that pickup trucks haven't been qualified to win Top Safety Pick until now because the institution hadn't begun side testing them. Surprisingly, finally there is the Toyota Tundra that became the first one to succeed. Pickups aren't as likely as cars or SUVs to have side airbags or ESC, and Toyota has made these features standard in the Tundra. Good thing the institute came with the idea that trucks should also be included in there test so that every buyer on this type of car can have their peace of mind in driving there trucks. I agree with the statement of Lund "Pickups are among the top selling vehicles in the United States they're also more likely than in the past to be used as family vehicles, so equipping them with the latest safety features is important."
