Post-graduate in Statistics/ Economics/ Econometrics/ Operations Research/ Mathematics/ Engineering, additional degree/diploma in (financial) management
2 to 7 years of experience in statistical modeling
Exposure in statistical modeling for Segmentation, Forecasting, churn prediction, cross sell / up sell, capacity modeling etc. using techniques like Logistic Regression, Cluster Analysis & Discriminant Analysis, CHAID etc.
Demonstrated ability to complete model designing / testing on time with minimal supervision
Ability to do data ETL in SAS and construct models from scratch
Ability to understand local and global financial markets and trends
Ability to handle large datasets
Strong analytical, interpersonal, leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Ability to exercise independent thinking and balanced judgment
Strong written and oral communication skills
